Summary

The most recent credit card used to pay for the account is automatically saved as the default payment method for any future purchase or renewal unless the option to save the credit card has been unchecked during the checkout process. This article will show you how to manually update the default credit card on file.

AdaTech accepts Visa, Discover (USD), Master Card and American Express.

Credit Card

To update the credit card on file, the steps will vary depending on which interface your account uses.

Older Accounts:

  1. Log in to your AdaTech cPanel account.
  2. Select the Account tab at the top of the screen.
  3. Under Billing Information update the card number and the expiration of the card. Note: Complete billing and contact information are required to be able to update the card on the account.
  4. When you are done, click Update at the bottom of the screen.
Newer Accounts
  1. Log in to your AdaTech cPanel account.
  2. Click the account icon in the top right-hand corner, then choose Billing from the drop-down.
  3. Enter new details in the Billing Information and Payment Method sections.
  4. Click the Update button.
Note: You must be logged in with the main account password to be able to view and update the billing and contact information. If you are asked to log in when selecting the Accounts tab or are otherwise unable to view this page, log out and log back in with the main account password to proceed.
